What is PlanRequest™? PlanRequest™ delivers both reliable storage oragization to safe-guard your valuable blueprints and specifications, and an intuitive viewer to quickly access your information. PlanRequest™ will give you the capability to view your drawings as they have been archived, make mark-ups and note instructions, print for staff, and lastly, export to the common PDF format to deliver to architects, engineers and contractors. PlanRequest's tools are unparalleled- they are easy to use and far more extensive than what Adobe Acrobat offers. This plan viewer / markup tool will be an integreated component of NetRequest™, coming soon from Advanced Planning Technologies, Inc.
The PlanRequest™ system also allows multiple users (of your choosing) to access prints whenever they're needed. No more digging through musty prints or spec books hoping you'll find what you need. Please call us today for a live demonstration of PlanRequest™ - 608.785.7077 or email treed@apt-cafm.com. Take an on-line peek at PlanRequest and learn how we can begin implementation today!

| FAQ of the month: | ||||||
"How do I make a CAD drawing from my OnRequest™ Master Project?" This is one of the most "popular" questions we get - "our architect would like to utilize our as-built CAD from OnRequest, but I don't know how I can extract it?" It's a lot easier than it sounds - OnRequest™, while very data-intensive, can act just like any other powerful CAD tool; you can make a DXF or DWG file within seconds. With your drawing open, turn on just the layers you need - usually walls and details. Go to the File pulldown and select "Save Drawing as File..."
Then select navigate to where you'd like to save the new file, enter a name for the file and choose the file extension you need. Click "Open" to save the new file:
That's all there is to it! Most architects can import any DWG or DXF file into AutoCAD or similar drafting software. Similarly, APT can import these formats as well.
