Steps to set up the link tool:

1. Select the link tool from the tool bar
2. Using the Link pull down menu, select define/modify link to button
3. Left mouse click on the object you want to use as the link object. Note: This object must be an icon and cannot be an object from a locked layer such as a wall or space.
4. Select the link target from the pop up window that appears. This can be a report, stylizer etc.
5. Select the drawing containing the link target.
6. Select the report or other link target as appropriate from the list that appears.
7. Selecting the link tool will now highlight the link you have created. With the link tool, select the highlighted link to activate the link process.
