OnRequest™ Support: Introduction to Database Structure

OnRequest™ database information is displayed by clicking on an object and viewing its “records”. Each record contains specific information in a format with the record name in bold and each field displayed as a sub-heading.

The following records are used in OnRequest:

Floor Plan

Data Records

  • Attached to Space:
    ID Record
    Space Region
    H Area
    Age Info
  • Attached to Walls:
    ID Record
  • Attached to Text Icon (only):
    ID Record
    Display Text
    Note Record
  • Attached to Roof:
    ID Record
    S Area
    Asset

Region Records

  • Location Region
    Contains the name assigned to the particular floor of the drawing
  • Space Region
    This record is attached to each space and circulation area in a drawing and contains fields that are used to describe a space class and space
  • Structure Region
    This record is attached to the building perimeter and to each floor of the building and any portables. It identifies the building name that exists on a particular building level.


Project Records

  • Building Info
    Information specific to the building such as: drawing name, unique ID, square footage, building purpose and location.
  • District Info
    Unique records that hold District Information.
  • Project Info
    Provides production information on the drawings when they are created.

Generic (examples)

Single Attached

  • Acquisition
    Tracks purchasing information.
  • Asset
    Provides general information about the asset.
  • Note
    Records short notes about an item.

Multiple Attached

  • Action
    Used to record any actions such as maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Assignment
    Associates an item with a category, area, group, or individual
  • Component
    Describes individual pieces of equipment that make up a functional unit.
  • Remarks
    Variable length text that records longer notes about an item.
  • Sample
    Tracks sample data for such items as lead and air quality.

Module Specific (examples)

  • ASB Assessment
    Records asbestos material assessment information as required by AHERA (Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act).
  • ASB Homog Area
    Records the homogenous area number.
  • ASB Inspection
    Provides basic material identification information.
  • ASB Sample
    Records asbestos sample data.
  • Capacity
    Calculates the capacity of a given space based on policies set by the user.
